Virtual Ocean’s Week 2020
This year we will be exploring the topic of Sea Birds with activities and live events hosted online. We will also have an art contest and some activities that will earn entry into raffles. Check out the schedule below for links and access information for all events throughout the week.
The Ocean's Week folder in the Farallone View Drive folder holds all the activities and supplemental information for the week. Participation in some of the activities will be entered in a raffle. Email completed the activity with name and grade in the subject line for your chance to win a $10 gift card to Ink Spell Books!

Shell Cleave from Sea Hugger will read her new book, The Littlest Sea Hugger, for the Farallone View community to enjoy. We are also getting an exclusive debut of a brand new program Sea Hugger is launching.
Watch Ms. Kaia’s Bird Beak Activity and participate in a study of bird beak adaptations at home.
ALSO Watch ‘Microplastic Madness’ if you haven’t been able to. The final viewing window is from 12 to 7PM.
Artist, author and naturalist Caren Loebel-Fried introduces students to the amazing Albatross, their fun personalities and shows some the challenges they are currently facing. Q&A with Caren will follow using the typed question Q&A function of Crowdcast.
