Scholastic Book Fair
September 30th-October 4th 2019
Family Night October 1, 6-8pm
Besides getting books into children’s hands and getting our students excited about reading, the book fair is a fundraiser for literacy at our school.
Proceeds are spent on books for the school library and classroom libraries, and are the major source of funding for new books at school.
During the week of parent-teacher conferences, the library gets converted into a pop-up book store of sorts.
The first day is a preview day, where the children get to look and make a note of which books they’d like to purchase.
They can show you their lists and you can decide if you’d like to get them any of the books.
The rest of the week they (or you) can purchase books.
Don't want to send your kid to school with cash?
Sign up for e-wallet.
There is also a festive family night, on the
Tuesday 6-8pm during the Book Fair
Volunteering—this event cannot happen without parent participation. There are many ways to help!
Looking forward to seeing you there!
