FAMILY LEARNING NIGHTS
Farallone View - 6:00 - 8:00pm
Moonridge - 6:30 - 8:30pm
FAMILIES LEARNING TOGETHER:
Each Families Learning Together (FLT) evening will be focused on teaching you and your children a skill that you can take home with you and use immediately. The topics are based on feedback from the community, so keep your ideas coming. All events and topics are taught with ALL students in mind. We strive to provide valuable information for every participant. Food and childcare is always provided and we often have surprise guests and community supporters, so don’t miss out!
Growth Mindset and Prep for Success:
An evening for parents and children to come together and learn about Growth Mindset and how to create positive habits and routines for a successful year. Growth Mindset is a concept made popular by Jo Boaler. It’s that mindset that keeps us trying and re-trying things even if we’ve failed once, twice, or three times. Children often thrive in an environment of habits and routines so if you’re tired of hearing, “Do I have to do my homework?” well, we’ve got some strategies to help with that.
